If you’re feeling like a nature escape, or want to plan a great family day, head to the Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show.

It’s running from March 16 to 20, and now on its 21st year – what an achievement!

There is an enormous amount to see on a visit to the beautiful Royal Exhibition Building and Carlton Gardens. A very popular exhibit is the Victorian Hanging Basket Competition, where over 300 hanging baskets of flowers, herbs, curiosities are displayed, plus a huge three metre basket filled with flowering annuals.
