This week, Jane highlights some gorgeous garden events for your leisure.

First off, the Botanic Gardens will hold some great events that will stretch on over the next month. Jane spoke with Helena Buxton, from the ‘Friends of Geelong Botanic Gardens’ group, about the upcoming workshops, tours, displays and musical events.

For more information on these events, visit www.friendsgbg.org.au or www.rbg.vic.gov.au/whats-on.

Coming up to March, Jane recommends you visit the Arundel open garden days. It’s a surprise slice of heaven, surrounded by thirteen properties yet invisible from the main road. You can admire everything from mature trees, vegetable beds and even some bee and worm keeping areas.

The open days run from 10am-4pm on March 5 and 6. Arundel garden is located on 478 Ryrie St East Geelong. For more information, visit www.opengardensvictoria.org.au.
