What Sally Capp finds ‘really disappointing’ about Melbourne

Lord mayor Sally Capp says there’s one common behaviour in Melbourne she finds “so disappointing”.

She told Jacqui Felgate the city is clean every morning, and the council has tripled investment in cleaning the CBD, but every day there’s an “onslaught of people who are doing illegal things”.

“Over Christmas/New Year, 900 tonnes of waste was collected in the city,” she said.
