What Sly thinks should be done amid the opposition’s plan to crackdown on retail crime
Sly of the Underworld has weighed in on the state opposition’s plan to crackdown on retail crime.
Under Brad Battin’s leadership, Protective Services Officers would high patrol high-risk shopping centres and precincts across Victoria.
The crime writer mentioned this idea on 3AW back on October 15, but he thinks the plan “doesn’t go far enough”.

“Nobody believes that the PSOs on every railway station was an effective use of resources,” Sly told Ross and Russ.
State opposition leader Brad Battin then explained the crime prevention plan on 3AW Mornings with Tom Elliott.
“We would have this in as soon as possible,” Battin said.
