The Business Council CEO has clarified his body’s view on new working from home laws, which could come into place soon.

The Allan government is pushing through on a proposal that could see employees legally allowed to work from home at least twice a week.

Business Council of Australia CEO Bran Black said while he didn’t oppose working from home, negotiations on its terms needed to take place.

“We’ve come out and said that employers already have flexible working arrangements in place,” he said on 3AW Mornings.

“We’re not opposed to flexible working, but you have to be able to negotiate it at an enterprise level.”
