What the former opposition leader makes of the Victorian budget

The former opposition leader says the Victorian budget shows the Labor government has “run out of money” and is trying to tax its way out of the problem.

Matthew Guy, now the shadow minister for finance and jobs, told Tom Elliott the government “didn’t have a plan” to stimulate Victoria’s economy.

“You can’t tax your way to prosperity,” he said.
