What to expect if you’re heading into the CBD for New Year’s Eve

Melbourne’s lord mayor Nick Reece has outlined what Melburnians can expect in the CBD for New Year’s Eve.

Over half a million people are expected to converge on the CBD with fireworks and laser lights operating from 27 rooftops as part of a $6 million celebration.

“It’s going to be a mesmerising, spectacular show,” Mr Reece told Heidi Murphy on 3AW Mornings.
