Attorney-General Mark Dreyfus has claimed the Voice to Parliament referendum will not only be able to advise on Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islander people but also on general laws or measures which affect other Australians, a decision which Tom Elliott finds “disturbing”.

“So really what we are creating here is a body that will have the power to advise the government on pretty much anything,” the 3AW Drive host said.
