What’s driving the rise in injury claims coming out of schools

There has been a rise in injury claims coming out of schools, with an increasing number of students, teachers and parents turning to legal action.

Meredith Peace from the Australian Education Union said she wasn’t surprised by the news but it was simply a reflection on society.

“We’ve been through a really difficult period of time over the last two to three years … Children, staff and and the broader community have been disrupted,” she said.
