When bushfire impacted residents could return home

Residents in some bushfire-threatened areas could return home as early as today, according to CFA chief officer Jason Hefferman.

He’s told Ross and Russ communities under evacuation orders should keep an eye on the Vic Emergency app.

“Naturally, with any fire in the landscape, we are asking people to remain vigilant,” he said.
