When the interest rate ‘war’ is likely to end
An economist says he expects interest rates to keep rising until February next year.
It comes with the Reserve Bank tipped to increase interest rates again today, for the fifth month in a row.
Stephen Koukoulas, economist and managing director of Market Economics, told 3AW Breakfast he expected international inflationary pressures to ease in the coming months.
“I think we’re getting very close to that point,” he said.
