Ross and John’s Acciaroli spy has some REALLY good news

Ross and John’s Acciaroli spy has sent back some really, really, REALLY good news from Italy.

The boys became somewhat obsessed with the Italian village last year after learning it is home to the highest number of centenarians in the world.

Acciaroli is south of Naples in the province of Salerno, with a population of around 700.

Ross and John’s intrigue into the town’s secrets of old-age prompted them send a listener to find some answers.

Julia Wilkinson, the Live Longer In Acciaroli competition winner, today talked the boys through what people do in Acciaroli.

“All we do is eat and drink,” she told 3AW Breakfast.

“There is fresh seafood, lots of fruit, lots of pizza and pasta but it is not processed.”

Sooo… guess we better hook into some grog and carbs!
