Which triumph is better?

AFL premierships are hard to win. It’s perhaps just as difficult to compare which premierships are better.

Alastair Clarkson and Eddie McGuire have had that debate over the last couple of days.

First it Clarkson questioning the Pies free run through to the Grand Final, despite losing preliminary finals during their four-peat from 1927-1930.

The Hawks of course have won the past three Grand Finals.

Eddie McGuire said the Hawks coach let himself down with the comments.

3AW Football expert Matthew Lloyd is in Clarkson’s corner and believes the Hawks three-peat is the better achievement.

‘I would back in these three versus Collingwood’s four,’ Lloyd said on Sports Today.

‘It’s harder now.’
