A leading restaurateur is warning rising operational costs and inflation will leave Victorian businesses with no choice but to increase their prices.

Luke Mangan has pointed to an increase in payroll tax, the cost of produce and more.

“Sometimes you don’t see a return of two, three per cent in these small businesses, and that’s the real problem, and if these companies and businesses want to grow … they’ll go broke if they don’t work on their bottom line,” he told Ross and Russel.
