Why Australia’s building industry has never been in more strife

Australia’s building industry has never been in worse shape, says the president of the Australian Builders Collective.

And the situation is only going to get worse.

“We are in a lot of trouble,” Phil Dwyer told 3AW on Wednesday.

“We’ve never experienced such circumstances in the past, ever, in the building industry.”

It comes on the back of several companies going into liquidation.
