A Melbourne-based breakdancer says the sport has earned its place at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.

Speaking on 3AW, Michael Fox said the “hybrid between art and sport” is even more popular today than it’s ever been.

Despite breakdancing being “terribly underfunded” here in Australia, Fox said there were huge sponsors around the world. One of his “crewmates” is in the running to represent Australia at the next Olympics.
