Why cannabis could soon become legal in Victoria

The president of the Legalise Cannabis Australia Party says Australians have been “hoodwinked” about the drug, with calls growing for it to be legalised in Victoria.

And Tom Elliott says it’s every chance of happening now the party has won twos upper house seats in Victorian parliament, making the party a key negotiator with the Andrews government.

“We’ve been lied to for a long time,” Michael Balderstone said.
