Why Coles has introduced purchase limits on several essential items

Coles has been forced to introduce purchase limits on items such as paracetamol, ibuprofen and toilet paper as supermarkets struggle to re-stock shelves.

Kevin Gunn, Executive Manager of operations at Coles, told 3AW Mornings the limits would be temporary and there was “good supply” of essentials coming into the supermarkets daily.

“We just want all of our customers to have the opportunity to purchase these products,” he said.
