Victorians should be more worried about vaccination rates than the ‘disheartening’ spike in daily COVID-19 cases on Thursday, says Professor Bruce Thompson.

The Dean of the School of Health Sciences at Swinburne University said while the daily case total “definitely still means something” it was more important to focus on how many people were fully vaccinated.

“We need to get everyone vaccinated, like, right now,” he said.
