Fiona Patten is calling for the end of tax exemption for religion in Victoria.

The Reason Party leader says it’s only fair.

“What I want to change is that, in our tax act, one of the automatic tax exemptions is the ‘advancement’ of religion,” she told 3AW Drive.

“If you say you are ‘advancing religion’, then you are tax exempt.”
