Housing construction in Victoria is forecast to plunge next year, even after the federal government’s push to build 1.2 million homes over the next five years.

Senior Economist at Housing Industry Association, Tom Devitt, said it’s expected to be “the weakest year for Victoria since 2013” in terms of housing construction.
