AFL great Leigh Matthews has explained why he is unsure on the idea of a mid season trade period on 3AW’s Wide World of Sports tonight.

It comes after Collingwood head coach Craig McRae admitted he is a fan of the idea amidst a ruck injury crisis at the Holden Centre.
