Lord Mayor of Melbourne Sally Capp has approved a trip to China for Deputy Lord Mayor, Councillor Nick Reece.

Councillor Reece spoke with Tom Elliott yesterday claiming it was really important for Melbourne to get out there and sell itself to the Chinese, with the Lord Mayor stating the move will be “incredible worthwhile for the city”.

“We’re looking forward to Nick coming back with a bag full of ideas that we can learn from and opportunities for local businesses,” she told Tom Elliott.
