Why Matthew Richardson thinks new Hobart stadium will be ‘huge’ for Tasmania

There has been a lot of noise and nerves on the status of the new stadium in Tasmania.

Construction hasn’t started for the new Hobart Stadium, however Tasmanian football legend Matthew Richardson is confident “it will happen.”

“This is going to be huge for Hobart and Tasmania,” Richardson said on 3AW Football.

“The people that are negative about it, have just got to get out of the mentality that it’s only a football stadium for 11 games a year,”
