Hay fever season is expected to hit early this year in Victoria, prompting a warning to allergy sufferers to be prepared.

Ambulance Victoria has advised we may face thunderstorm asthma conditions similar to Melbourne’s deadly event in 2016.

Coordinator of the Pollen Count at University of Melbourne, Ed Newbigin, explained to Tom Elliott why Melbourne in particular is always hit hard with hay fever.
