A new study has found three-in-four Australians are making coffee at home, with 63 per cent of those people doing so to save money.

Lachlan Ward, co-CEO of St Ali Coffee, told Tom Elliott there was little doubt more and more people were now making their coffee at home.

“I think the last couple of years (pandemic) has probably only sped that up,” he said.

“We’ve seen a massive shift.”

But can a home brew ever match one in a café?
