Why motorcyclist deaths in Victoria are on the rise
Police are extremely concerned by a spike in motorcyclist deaths on Victorian roads.
There have already been 24 motorcycle deaths this year, a jump of 21 per cent.
In 19 of those incidents, the cause of the crash has been attributed to rider error.
“In other words, it could have been avoided,” Acting Assistant Commissioner David Clayton for Road Policing told Neil Mitchell.
