Why non-alcoholic ‘alcoholic’ drink sales are booming

Zero and low-strength alcoholic drink sales are booming in Australia.

Alex Freudman, Managing Director of Dan Murphy’s, said there was no doubt non-alcoholic alternatives were becoming more popular.

He said the “fear of missing out” was a factor for some, while others were drinking zero alcohol beer during the week and drinking the “real” version at the weekend.
