Tom Elliott has thrown his support behind Australian actor Kat Stewart after she spoke about her fear of becoming “invisible” now she’s in her late 40s.

The 3AW Drive host said she wasn’t the only person that age to feel that way.

He recounted a situation at a café before the pandemic where he was ignored by staff while waiting to be served.

“Everybody I’ve spoken to north of the age of 50 says that slowly, but surely, you just get ignored,” he said.

“People don’t want to talk to you, restaurants and cafes just ignore you.”
