Why Peter Ford thinks Sarah Abo’s early exit from the Today Show is a ‘wise choice’

Sarah Abo has announced she won’t be returning as co-host of the Today Show, after heading into early maternity leave.

And entertainment reporter Peter Ford thinks it’s a “wise choice”.

“Her departure has also not been entirely pleasant,” Ford said on 3AW Breakfast.

The news comes after co-host Karl Stefanovic was ousted from the show after backlash from speaking to far-right activist Tommy Robinson on his independent podcast.

“The (Today) show has been tanking for several years now,” Ford added.
