Why Peter Ford was surprised by Nicole Kidman’s newest award

Entertainment reporter Peter Ford says he was surprised to see Nicole Kidman honoured with an American Film Institute Life Achievement Award.

He says he feels other people should have received the award over her.

“At the risk of sounding un-Australian … first Australian to get it and even there, you think about great Australian movie stars of times gone by,” he told Ross and Russel.
