Fuel prices are tipped to rise again in the coming days, as the latest fuel excise increase takes effect.

Petrol will be on average almost 1c per litre more expensive from next week in line with the excise rise.

“The fuel excise rises every February and August with inflation (pressures) and it’s going up in proportion like it’s always has,” Director at the Institute for Sensible Transport Elliot Fishman told Tom Elliott on 3AW Mornings.
