Despite a phase one peace deal being signed between Israel and Hamas, pro-Palestine protests are showing no signs of slowing down.

This Sunday, rallies across Australia are expected to ramp up.

And Jasmine Duff, national co-convenor of Students for Palestine, joined Tom Elliott on 3AW Mornings to explain why the movement is pushing forward.

Press PLAY to hear why the protests will continue

“Our movement is still going, we are still here protesting and we will continue to push for real liberation, real justice and real self-determination for the Palestinians,” said Ms Duff.

She also voiced deep distrust in global leaders brokering the deal.

“We don’t trust Donald Trump or (Benjamin) Netanyahu for a second,” she said.

“How can we trust the lives of many young women and men in the hands of this man?”
