Why release of ‘angry and bitter’ Rebel Wilson book has been delayed

The much-anticipated release of Rebel Wilson’s autobiography has been delayed in Australia as well as the UK.

While the book was supposed to be released this week, the publisher now says it has been pushed back to align with her upcoming press tours.

But entertainment reporter Pete Ford isn’t buying that excuse.

“It’s an extraordinary turnabout,” he told 3AW Breakfast.

“She’s thrown a lot of grenades and upset a lot of people. It’s the sort of angry and bitter book people usually write at the end of their career.”
