A respiratory clinic in Lilydale will soon close after the state government revoked funding, leaving those who rely and use the services devastated.

One caller, a parent, Elizabeth, says the clinic was her “saving grace” and is enraged by the state governments decision.

“And it’s the only place that actually swabs the kid, instead of assuming what’s wrong,” she told Jacqui Felgate.

The shadow minister for heath, Georgie Crozier, has weighed in on the set closure of respiratory clinics across Victoria.

“It’s going to put an enormous amount of pressure on our existing health,” she said.
