Shopping centres across Melbourne are fast becoming “no-go zones” for some, with fears it’s only a matter of time before somebody is killed due to escalating youth violence and other crime.

“I won’t go there, anymore,” long-time Cheltenham resident Cheryl Laing said about Southland.
