A new study has shown single men are more likely than others to crash a car in the wet weather.

Associate Professor at RMIT University, Nirajan Shiwakoti, told Tom Elliott research also found married male drivers to be much safer behind the wheel.

Associate Professor Shiwakoti said the “added responsibility” of having family in the car could be a factor in improved driver behaviour.
