Sly of the Underworld has weighed in on top cop Mike Bush’s “ambitious” plan to cut the crime rate by five per cent, amid the worrying crime crisis in Victoria.

The veteran crime writer thinks there’ll be an aim to have more patrols and visible police presence on the streets to deter criminals.

But he thinks the plan will be “difficult” to follow through with.
