Why so many Australians use drugs

Australia now ranks third when compared with 27 other countries when it comes to meth use and fifth for total “stimulant” use, according to new research.

It prompted Tom Elliott to ask the question … why is drug use so popular in Australia, given the great standard of living we enjoy when compared with most other countries.

Psychotherapist and social worker, Marian Cartwright, said a few factors were at play.
