Staff at a Mont Albert bakery have reportedly been abused by customers over a “minimum” $10 spend if they were paying by card.

Tom Elliott tried to find out why some stores had minimum spends.

He spoke with Peter Strong from the Small Business Council, who said it all related to fees from banks.
