Why state opposition is pushing for inquiry into mass blackouts across state

State opposition leader John Pesutto will push for a parliamentary inquiry into Victoria’s energy network as a rest of last week’s storms.

Over 500,000 homes were left without power last Tuesday as wild weather swept the state and Mr Pesutto wants to see action.

“This inquiry is really necessary because the government was warned the transmission towers were in a state of disrepair.”
