Tasmania will enforce a mandatory 14-day self-isolation period for anybody who enters the state during the coronavirus pandemic.

Tourist, returning resident, citizen or otherwise – you will have to quarantine.

Councillor Anna Reynolds, Lord Mayor of Hobart, said locals were largely supportive of the move.
