The ACTU has gone after the minister for women on International Women’s Day with a series of billboards on wheels in Melbourne.

The three billboards, which were parked outside Kelly O’Dwyer’s office on Malvern Road, call for “action” on paid domestic leave.

Sally McManus explained why the ACTU had targeted Ms O’Dwyer’s office.

“When you’re the minister for women, you’ve got the ability to make laws,” she said on 3AW Drive.

“Those laws can make a difference.”
