Why the ambulance union isn’t shocked by ‘ramping’ issues

The head of Victoria’s ambulance union says paramedics are regularly being forced to wait several hours outside hospitals waiting to drop off patients due to ramping issues.

And it’s having alarming consequences.

“There is a crushing demand at the moment,” Danny Hill said on 3AW Drive.
