Experts are weighing in on a Coalition economic policy, which would see first-home buyers using their super to help pay for a home.

Chief executive officer of the Super Members Council, Misha Schubert, says people need to understand the Coalition’s policy is a ‘policy trap’.

“All that would happen if such a policy was implemented, is that young people, particularly, would be encouraged to take money out of their super and it would wack up house prices,” she said.
