Why there’s ‘no great option’ for Liberal’s next leader

There remains no standout option to replace Peter Dutton as the next federal opposition leader, according to The Age’s Paul Sakkal.
Mr Dutton’s successor will be named on Tuesday after he was ousted in his seat of Dickson.
Angus Taylor and Sussan Ley are considered frontrunners for the job, but neither appears to be an overly enticing option to take the party forward.

“There’s no great option,” Mr Sakkal told Tom Elliott.
“Sussan Ley is backed by the moderates and appears to have a slight edge over Angus Taylor.”
