Tom Elliott believes opposition leader Peter Dutton’s has one of the worst campaigns in Liberal party history.

He says Mr Dutton hasn’t outlined any good new policies, which leaves him on the brink of election defeat as polls close around the nation.

“It has been one of the worst campaigns I can remember for the Liberal party,” he said on 3AW’s Election Night special.

“They have not really had many great new policies.”
