Why Tom Elliott thinks it’s time to end ‘corporate activism’
Tom Elliott has weighed in on corporate activism following on from the news Woolworths CEO Brad Banducci will be stepping down.
“I think it’s time to end corporate activism … the job of a company is to martial capital from shareholders, to invest, hopefully, in companies that make a profit for share holders,” he said.
“It’s no coincidence to me that he’s now out of the top job,” he added.
