Why Tom Elliott thinks Melbourne should NOT be included in the bid for the Men’s World Cup

Following news Australia may include Melbourne in a potential bid for the 2034 FIFA Men’s World Cup, Tom Elliott has shared why he thinks Melbourne shouldn’t be included in the bid.

“The FIFA officials will look at Melbourne and say ‘Wait a moment, this is the city that … three years out from the Comm Games, abandoned it and probably ruined the games, there’s no way we’re going to trust a bid for the World Cup in 2034,'” he said.
