Tom Elliott has voiced his concerns with the social media ban for under 16s, which commences on Wednesday.

The 3AW Mornings host said “theoretically it’s a good idea, I just don’t think it will work in practice”.

Press PLAY to hear what he’d do differently

“I don’t like policies that I don’t think are going to work, even if they are well founded,” he added.

15-year-old high school student, Noah Jones, is fighting the social media ban legislation in the High Court.

“As a young Australian, I want my voice to be heard,” Mr Jones said on 3AW Mornings.

Press PLAY to hear why he thinks the ban will make things ‘more dangerous’ (and also the platform he’s surprised is on the banned list)
